William A. (Bill) Wiley, 39, an elementary music teacher in Maine School Administrative District 56, serving Frankfort, Searsport and Stockton, Maine has been arrested on allegations of the sexual abuse of a young female.
Wiley is reportedly charged with gross sexual assault and unlawful sexual contact with a girl between 12 and 13 years of age. The alleged crimes reportedly occurred about five years ago.
Reportedly Wiley came to the attention of the Waldo County Sheriff’s Department by way of a referral from the state Department of Health and Human Services.
Will has reportedly be placed on administrative leave by the school system.
05/13/09 – Grand Jury Indictment
A Waldo County grand jury has indicted William A. Wiley on 10 counts of unlawful sexual contact and one count of gross sexual assault.
05/28/09 – Wiley Enters Not Guilty Plea
Bill Wiley entered pleas of not guilty today to 11 felony charges of sex crimes involving a teenage girl.
Wiley’s next court appearance is set for September 1st and he remains free on bond.
07/01/09 – Wiley Resigns
William Wiley, who has been on paid administrative leave since April, reportedly submitted his resignation Monday, effective immediately.
Wiley reportedly remains free on bond.

Has anyone considered that the girl was LYING?
No one thinks of that. She hated him. It’s all a bunch of bullsh*t lies, trust me.
A wonderful, innocent man’s life is now ruined by some lying little immature child.

Has anyone even considered that this was not a student? I mean, I realize that most of you do not even know this person that you are talking about, but I do, and there is no doubt in my mind that this was not a student/teacher relationship. My children attended the school, had Mr. Wiley for a teacher and he is the last person I would have expected to hear this about. On one hand I don’t believe it for a minute, and on the other hand, I find myself stumbling upon this website because I am wondering why he now lives a couple hundred feet from me and I didn’t even know it until I saw him on the street. This obviously has not yet gone to trial, and when it does, I am sure that the details of the whole situation will not be revealed, but the public will probably see a different view of this man and this horrible chain of events.

So you are married, you have children, you have a great job, your respected in the community and you mess around with little girls. Hard to figure.
Rule #1 for teachers- don’t touch kids – don’t even let them get too close.
Rule # 2 Never, never be alone with a kid – or behind a closed door.
Rule # 3 never ever even put yourself in a situation where there is even the slightest chance a child or adult could misinterput what’s going on.

Why did the girl wait 5 years before going to the law? This is wrong! Think of how many other little girls this Wiley coyote could have been molesting. I believe that there should be a statue of limitations on sex charges. Victims should not be allowed to sit idly by doing nothing until the spirit moves them.

Mr. Wiley was a great teacher. He will be sadly missed by his students. Even though he did a very wrong thing, he was a great teacher and friend to me.
WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU? He wasn’t a great teacher if he likes his students in the way he shouldn’t! He deserves to go to jail! PLAIN AND SIMPLE!
