William Joseph Seagroves, 34, a former math teacher and assistant track coach at Sullivan Central High School in Blountville, Tennessee has reportedly been indicted on a charge of sexual battery by an authority figure.

The indictment alleges that Seagroves engaged in criminal sexual contact with a 16-year-old female student on May 23, 2008.
Seagroves came to the attention of authorities in October of last year when the alleged victim filed a complaint with the Sullivan County Sheriff’s Office.
Seagroves was arrested on April 13th, after the Sullivan County Grand Jury returned a sealed indictment. He was reportedly released on $30,000 bond the same day.
Seagroves, who previously had been a chemical engineer at Nuclear Fuel Services in Erwin, became a math teacher and assistant track coach in January 2006 as part of a state program to bring professionals from other disciplines into the classroom.
Reportedly, Seagroves resigned shortly after the alleged victim’s complaint in October.

Yes I realize that. I am just saying to the casual observer, this looks like an indicator of guilt. Perhaps you could label the pictures “awaiting trial” or whatever. There is no need to make sensationalized drama out of someone’s life.

I am interested to know why your website states these individuals are presumed innocent until found guilty in a court of law. The above individual has not been tried. If he is pictured here with “Bad Teacher” across his chest than he is certainly being presumed guilty by the makers of this site. As well as anyone that is looking over the site casually.
