William Booze

William “Bill” Booze, 27, a special education teacher at Meadowbrook High School in Byesville, Ohio has been arrested and charged with two counts of sexual battery of a 14-year-old female.

Booze came to the attention of authorities when a detective was at the school on Monday investigating allegations against another teacher when the school’s Principal notified authorities that a student reported being the victim of a sexual assault by a teacher.

Bail for Booze was set at $15,000 and he has a preliminary hearing set for May 19th.

Booze has been placed on paid administrative leave by the school system.

05/21/08 - Preliminary Hearing Not Held

A preliminary hearing set for William Booze for May 19th was canceled. Since Booze was indicted by a grand jury, a preliminary hearing was not required.

    But if you remember the Salem witch trials….people were executed. This man’s good name has been drug all through the mud in public news, radio & community gossip. There is no recovery from this, even if they drop all charges. They will have to move. It’s deceitful, its shameful and appauling that a man as sweet and gentle and GOOD with kids (he taught some of the roughest special ed kids in the area) was the target of a girl in desperate need of attention. People need to pray that they can solve this and acquit him quickly, defense lawyers are NOT CHEAP.
