What Wayne did was bad enough lets not start creating rumors and creating issues that are not true. Wayne was my teacher and coach for several years and my observation was that he treated everyone equally. His known fault was that the best players did not always play because he was so political with parents. Coach Kedzor was always the right man for the job and I always wish he were my head coach versus the defensive coordinator. I think he could have made a difference in our success back in my day. I watched many of my fellow senior classmates sit the bench while lesser skilled athletes play on the field. Players played out of position so Wayne’s buddy’s kid could play one of the glory positions. That is why we had such horrible teams in the 80’s and 90’s. I would have preferred lining up with my classmates than some sophomore that barely knew how to snap his chin strap. Not to mention I would have enjoyed some playoff appearances. I am so proud of our program today but am also jealous that I could not have played for a coach like Stortz or a even a head coach the caliber of Kedzor. Wayne took some good memories away from me of playing with my classmates. So by no means do I feel like I am pro or anti coach K but certainly can put a fair perspective on what I think and know of the man.

In regards to him bumping someone as he walked by that is complete nonsense unless it was a true accident. Not sure anyone saw Coach K as a big rough bully most of his players could have knocked him out if wanted. We respected him because we were a bunch of dumb kids but he was not the type to bully anyone including players or students. That was not what he was about. He seemed to be a pretty decent person in terms of how he treated the students. I am sure the non football players naturally do not feel as close to him but that was because they did not spend summers and hours a day after school with the guy.

Sounds like some of you have your own issues to deal with if such a tragedy brings a smile to your face. Or your still thinking of high school bullies. In addition, to loop Todd into this is completely crazy and discredits your complete position. I have also known Todd for a long time and he is a decent person and certainly deserves his position in life. He is a hard working man.

Let’s wish all involved God's speed. I hope Coach K gets the help he needs.
