(07/16/08 – Initial BBT Report)
Virginia Isabel Cammack, 35, a former math and geometry teacher at Morton Ranch High School, in Katy, Texas has been arrested on allegations that she had an improper relationship with a 17-year-old male student.
It is alleged that around Valentine’s Day that the student went to Cammack’s residence to download music from a computer and that Cammack and the student had sex.
Reportedly the boy told investigators that when he went past her, they kissed. The student says he carried her to bed, where they had sex. He says Cammack told him she had a feeling for him that she could not explain.
Cammack came to the attention of authorities when the mother of another student saw the pair outside Cammack’s apartment and contact school officials anonymously.
Following her arrest Cammack was released on $20,000 bond.
Cammack has resigned her teaching position at the school.
Today Cammack made a court appearance and was prohibited from contacting the boy.
02/03/09 – Plea Deal Made
According to KHOU, the attorney’s for Virginia Cammack reached a plea agreement with prosecutors in her case.
Reportedly terms of the plea deal will be announced Wednesday.

In most Europe countries is illegal to have sex with a student. Americans always have false ideas of Europa.

I think Ms.Cammack was a wonderful teacher, I had her freshman year and she was the only one who had the patients to help any student who didn’t understand what was going on. She made a mistake, but it doesn’t mean she should be chastized for it, he went around school shortly after all of that bragging about how he had “****** a teacher”

that guy wasn’t even her student. i heard that the person who reported it doesn’t even have any children old enough to go to high school. maybe that “feeling for him that she could not explain” was a negative feeling that she didn’t want to necessarily “explain”. maybe he carried her in such a way that she couldn’t do anything.

DAm this (****) is crazy. (****) was my teacher to when i was a freshman. she was ku as (****). Shes one of the only math teachers that actually really taught me. Me and my friends would try to flirt with her but she neva seemed like what had happened. Why in the hell did she do dat in a white neighborhood and not in the hood. haha she is still a good (***) teacher and she was a good person to have until she left to texas. dat sucked. but good luck to her and her kids

I am very good friends of the Cammack family, and this case is much more complicated then most of you realize. There is much that has not been leaked to the press. This is not the first time Virginia has been caught in a compromising situation while she was a teacher at a high school or that she was investigated for such an incident. This boy is not the only one she has been involved with. (Name deleted by site moderator) that posted a comment above should know, he gave her his cousins phone number last summer and Virginia and his cousin had a relationship last summer while his cousin was home from North Carolina where he goes to college. And (Name deleted by site moderator) (married w/ kids) who posted a comment above hates Mr. Cammack because (Name deleted by site moderator) has been caught with Virginia together at a park in Katy. Virginia is a nice woman, but she needs help, and unfortuantly most people just support her behavior on or want her in prison. She deserves niether, she needs psychiatric help. Her children are suffering greatly as a result of what she did, and unfortunately she doesn’t seem to care.
