Virginia Isabel Cammack, 35, a former math and geometry teacher at Morton Ranch High School, in Katy, Texas has been arrested on allegations that she had an improper relationship with a 17-year-old male student.

It is alleged that around Valentine’s Day that the student went to Cammack’s residence to download music from a computer and that Cammack and the student had sex.
Reportedly the boy told investigators that when he went past her, they kissed. The student says he carried her to bed, where they had sex. He says Cammack told him she had a feeling for him that she could not explain.
Cammack came to the attention of authorities when the mother of another student saw the pair outside Cammack’s apartment and contact school officials anonymously.
Following her arrest Cammack was released on $20,000 bond.
Cammack has resigned her teaching position at the school.
Today Cammack made a court appearance and was prohibited from contacting the boy.
02/03/09 - Plea Deal Made
According to KHOU, the attorney’s for Virginia Cammack reached a plea agreement with prosecutors in her case.
Reportedly terms of the plea deal will be announced Wednesday.
