Vicente Pecina, 35, a cafeteria worker at the Northbrook Junior High School in Northbrook, Illinois has been arrested and charged with 50 counts of aggravated criminal sexual abuse and seven counts of possession of child pornography.
It is alleged that Pecina sexually abused a now 15-year-old boy up to 50 times during a 15-month period.
Reportedly the alleged victim was not a student of the school system.
Police executed a search warrant at Pecina’s home and seized computer equipment. Allegedly files containing child pornography were discovered on at least one of the computer drives removed from Pecina’s apartment.
Pecina is not an employee of the school system. He was an employee of a private food-service provider for the school district.
At an initial court appearance today, Pecina’s bond was set at $750,000 and he remains jailed.
Pecina’s next court appearance is set for April 28th.

I go to the svchool where he worked. He was always so nice to all the kids there and was always laughing and making jokes. I never thought he would ever do something like this. I think that he made an extreamly poor choice and that he absalutly deserves what he got. I didnt expect him of this kind of person.

I ALSO go to the school he worked at, he always was kindof in a weird mood but i really couldnt picture him doing anything bad to a child. he didnt seem like the type. my school was in shock. however the food looked surprisingly better the following day at school. :0 lol. maybe cooking isnt his thing.

I go to the school where he worked. Honestly, he was the absolute last person I would have suspected for this kind of thing. I’m still in shock. I just can’t believe it…
