Umesh Ramjattan Charged

Umesh Ramjattan, 22, a first-year English teacher at MS-137 in Ozone Park, Queens, New York has been arrested and charged with sending sexually explicit videos and e-mail messages to three of his 12-year-old female students.

Allegedly Ramjattan, who began teaching just one month ago, gave his e-mail address to the three seventh-grade female students and told them that they could contact him with questions regarding their schoolwork. It is further alledged that once the girls did so that Ramjattan began sending indecent videos, pictures, and messages to them.

Authorities also alleged that Ramjattan also sent instant messages to the students and asked them questions of a sexual nature.

In the most serious allegation it is alleged that Ramjattan sent a video of Ramjattan and his girlfriend having sex to one of the girls.

Reportedly District Attorney Brown said that and investigation began when the parents of one of the students notified school authorities that Ramjattan had e-mailed a sexual video to their daughter and the school, in turn, notified the police.

    first of all the girls werent stupid. they wudnt set tht shyt up fer no reason. and na he acted like a nice teacher.. but yu dont no wut really happened. so all them idiots who think the girls did sumthing rong think again. cuz they didnt.

    yeah mr.ramjattan was cool but if hes going to be sending amature porn of him and his girlfriend to us - students - do you really want him to teach you? and i cant stand mrs.hanes but atleast shes not a posible rapist.

    mr. ramjattan is the nicest teacher. he is harmless. he never did anything to anyone. i want him to come back. EVERYONE misses him. he was set up by 3 girls
