Tyrell Brewer, 26, the principal at Bible Fellowship School in Tulsa, Oklahoma has been charged with the second-degree rape of a 17-year-old student.
It is alleged that Brewer had sexual relations with the girl at the school on four occasions from April 30 to May 6.
It is alleged that the illicit activity started with a “play fight” in the principal’s office on April 30th and that the activity progressed to oral sex and sexual intercourse. Of the the alleged sexual assaults is said to have occurred in the school “sick room”.
The alleged victim has told police that the sexual incidents were “consensual” but that she later felt guilty and came forward.
Although a warrant was obtained for Brewer’s arrest, he has not as of May 24th been taken into custody.
Brewer who was hired as the principal of the private school affiliated with Bible Fellowship Center in 2007. According to a church spokesperson, Brewer has been placed on administrative leave.
07/10/08 - Arraignment
Court records indicate that Tyrell Brewer has been arraigned and entered a not guilty plea.
His preliminary hearing is set for August 1st and Brewer remains free on $25,000 bond.

Actually, the court records indicate that he entered his not guilty plea on Monday. - site admin
