Troy Guzikowski Arrested
Posted by: Webmaster in Administrators, High Schools, ME-FV, MichiganTroy Guzikowski, 43, an assistant principal at Reed City High School, in Reed City, Michigan turned himself in late Saturday on an arrest warrant for sexually assaulting an underage female student.
Police say Guzikowski will be charged with several counts of first degree criminal sexual conduct which could result in his spending the rest of his life in prison. The allegations surfaced Friday when the friend of the victim told a school counselor.
Guzikowski is the father of two children and had been a teacher, coach and union president before becoming a school administrator.
Guzikowski who has been held without bail since Saturday night is set for arraignment today.

You CANNOT be serious! And I suppose you think that women get raped because they dress a certain way. I don’t believe there are still people like you OUT there.

If you were “victimized” by Mrs Guz, then you need to come forward and TELL someone about it - or shall you remain silent, so IF she is doing this, she can continue to victimize others?

Well, I never really encountered Mr. Guz much, but I did know his wife quite well. Matter of fact, too well. And I will personally and accurately confirm all postings about Mrs Guzikowski, as I was a ‘victim’ of her.
The quotes are merely for the people who believe this was entirely Mr Guz’s fault. This girl didn’t do anything? Criminal Sexual Assault is defined as a sex act by an adult unto another adult or minor that was consensual in the beginning. Rape and/or Gross Sexual Imposition is defined as unwanted sexual advances or intercourse. Notice the difference? This girl obviously was half the situation. That is why I do not personally refer to myself as a victim of Mrs Guz.
I am in no way defending Troy. It was his fault for doing this, however, he is not entirely at fault alone. These girls voluntarily wore short skirts, small tops, etc. You truly believe that if these women were wearing business suits that he would still be ‘ogling’ as one poster pointed out?
In my own situation, I volunteered for that special assignment with Mrs Guzikowski. These girls that Troy had sex with volunteered as well. He’s most likely guilty as charged, however blame should be evenly spread throughout the situation.

i like mr. guzikowski still. i don’t even look at him as a pervert. i see him as more of an oppurtunist.

Guzikowski will have his day in court, where his accuser will be cross examined and “evidence” will be put to the test. So far, you have only heard from the prosecution. That will change soon. In in the end, the matter will be adjudicated in a court of law.
Note: I removed two entire paragraphs owing to the fact they did nothing other than take another commenter to task. What remains is that which is relevant to the matter at hand; the accusations against Mr. Guzikowski

My daughter and I have had a few run ins with “Guz” as the kids at school called him. And she told me that he was ALWAYS looking at the “preppie” girls, and would let them wear spaghetti strap shirts, which are against the dress code, and short short skirts - also which are against the dress code. If they dressed like that, and were NOT his idea of a “prep”, then he openly admonished them.
Whenever I have had to deal with him, he seemed cocky, arrogant, and looked down his nose at me. While my heart goes out to the 15 year old, I cannot help but feel some smug satisfaction that he is now languishing in jail. What goes around comes around, I say.
Sounds like he is definitely going to get some prison time for all this. And he will have a rough time of it in prison too - as the inmates tend to not like “child molesters”.
It is truly a shame that the kids would even have to attend a school with a monster such as Troy Guzikowsli - and if he has done it to this one young girl, my money is on him doing it in the past - just never having gotten caught for it.
