(11/28/07 – Initial BBT Report)
Todd J. Huth, 57, a former girls varsity assistant basketball coach at Mukwonago High School, in Mukwonago, Wisconsin has been charged with five counts of sexual assault of a team member.

Huth is reportedly accused of sexually assaulting a 16-year-old female student between July and September of this year.
It is alleged that during a graduation party sleep-over for a friend of the alleged victim that Huth began playing with her hair, stroking her neck and put his hand down her shirt. It is further alleged that later than same night Huth threatened to cut the girl from the team if she did not accompany him to an upstairs bedroom. Allegedly the girl gave in to the threat and was sexually assaulted.
It is further alleged that later the victim was repeatedly sexually assaulted in the basement of her home by Huth, who has denied all allegations.
In early November the girl’s parents reported the alleged sexual assaults to police.
The school system relieved Huth, who has been a coach with the school district since the late 1990’s, of his coaching duties.
12/27/07 – Huth Misses Court Date
Todd Huth was a no-show for his initial court appearance Wednesday and a warrant was issued for his arrest.
However, Waukesha County Circuit Court Commissioner Martin Binn said he would hold off on enforcing the warrant until January 2nd, the new date Binn set for Huth to appear in court to face five felony counts of sexual assault of a student by school staff.
Reportedly Huth is “out of town” for the holidays.
1/03/08 – Court Appearance and Bond
Todd Huth appeared in court yesterday and was granted $1,000 bail on five felony counts of sexual assault of a student.
Huth’s estranged wife Jane Huth attended the hearing and spoke with reporters saying, “I have 4 daughters that live in my house. What did he do to them? That was my first thought.”
Prosecutors say the sexual relationship started over the summer and continued when Huth moved into the victim’s house living in their basement because his wife kicked him out because they were having marital problems.
A preliminary hearing for Huth is set for February 14th.
04/01/09 – No Contest Plea and Sentencing
In a plea deal with prosecutors, Todd Huth pleaded no contest to one count of sexual assault by school staff. As part of the plea deal, all other charges were dropped.
As a result of his no contest plea, Huth was sentenced to two years and four months in prison.
The judge also sentenced Huth to three years of extended supervision, after his prison term.

Seems to me parents should just bypass the school administrators and go straight to police. Why tell anyone at school when a sex crime is alleged? Let the police investigate the matter, that is their job and duty. Jesus hath spoken.
Todd Huth’s former wife is Jane Will not Huth, she was never Huth.
Do you think the high school would release these records? It may hurt their “precious” athletic teams.. It would never happen.. As a former student, I can tell you the most important thing in that school is the athletic programs.. To tarnish any of them would be unacceptable in the school’s mind.
Recent reports indicate there have been complaints filed against Mr Huth going back to 2000 from players and their parents. Those reports were filed with the head coach, athletic director and the district adminstator. I believe those records should be released for public knowledge. And that current adminstration that was in involved in those complaints be held accountable. I’m not saying they did anything wrong, but until those records are made public all we have to go on is ‘rumor’.
