Susan Jayne Anderson, 28, a basketball and volleyball coach at Desert Edge High School and a fitness teacher at Centerra Mirage Elementary School both in Goodyear, Arizona has been arrested on suspicion of having a sexual relationship with a 16-year-old female student who was a member of her basketball team.
Anderson came to the attention of authorities owing to interception by family members of Myspace.com messages which allegedly indicated a sexual relationship was taking place. Additionally phone records allegedly reveals hours long conversations and numerous text messages between coach and player.
It is alleged that Anderson admitted the year long relationship to police saying that she targeted the victim due to her low self-esteem.
The victim allegedly told police there were three or four incidents of sexual activity between her and Anderson.
Following her arrest Anderson was held in the Maricopa County jail on $18,000 bond.
Anderson has been placed on administrative leave by both school systems.

OMG! Susan Anderson was my P.E. teacher. supposedly she was charged with snorting cocaine on school campus as well as drinking alcohol! Now i have a reason not to have low self-esteem!
