Steven Oatman

Steven Oatman, 32, of Moscow, Pennsylvania, a former a teacher at the Scranton School for the Deaf has been charged with possessing child pornography.

It is alleged that Oatman was using a file sharing program to share and distribute child pornography and a state police investigator discovered the the alleged child pornography files and traced them back to Oatman.

A search warrant was executed on Oatman’s apartment in December and troopers said they found a child porn movie and hundreds of pictures of boys and girls.

Reportedly Oatman was suspended by the school in December.

According to Oatman at his court appearance, he is no longer employed by the school.
