Steven Duncil, 25, a former substitute teacher in the Fleming County School System in Kentucky has been sentenced to five years probation after being busted in an Internet sex sting last October.

Duncil pleaded guilty last month to felony charges of unlawfully using electronic means to induce a minor to engage in sexual acts and unlawful transaction with a minor.

The plea deal in addition to five years probation specifies that Duncil is required to undergo mandatory drug testing and have limited contact with juveniles.

Duncil and several other men was arrested last October as the result of an internet sex sting conducted by Kentucky Bureau of Investigation, local law enforcement agencies and the Perverted Justice group.

All those arrested in the sting were accused of arranging a sexual encounter with who they thought was a 13-year-old girl but who in reality was a police officer.

Duncil taught fourth-grade at Flemingsburg Elementary School in 2005. When his job was eliminated in 2006 he began working as a substitute for the Fleming County School System in August 2006 where he continued until the time of his arrest.
