Stephanie Beaucar, 36, a former teacher at Enterprise High School in Redding, California has been charged with one count of misdemeanor annoyance or molestation of a child for alleged inappropriate correspondence with a 17-year-old male student.
Beaucar first came to the attention of authorities in May when the boy’s mother told a Redding police officer who is the school resource officer for Enterprise High, that the boy had allegedly received text messages from a teacher with details of the teacher’s divorce and her kissing abilities.
It is further alleged that the boy via his cell phone received photos of a female teacher in underwear and one in which the teacher was “crawling across a bed”. Reportedly the boy had deleted the text messages and photos from his cell phone before talking to investigators.
Allegedly a second copy of the underwear photo was found on another student’s cell phone.
Reportedly the teacher’s face was not visible in the photo.
The Shasta County district attorney’s office has notified Beaucar to check herself into the Shasta County jail, at which time she’ll be given a date to appear in court.
If convicted, Beaucar faces up to one year in jail and would be required to register as a sex offender.
Beaucar was placed on administrative leave in May and her contract with the school was not renewed for the new school year.

I agree…..I went to Enterprise as well, when this all happened..I’m good friends with the guy involved.I know that his grade was going up as all this was happening, so if he could lead her on for a better grade-why not? Its definatley her fault.She intiated seriousness of childish comments.It was clear she wasn’t all there so none of us were shocked when she did it.Its more of a joke than anyhting sadly…and the guy is fine.he wasn’t traumatized or anything, thought it was funny in fact.
The truth is it was all a set up the boys were trying to get the teacher to do it. Granted she still deserves punishment though. I actually go tto EHS as well, so I know he truth of the story
Jim, how old are you anyways? 12? You obviously don’t have any knowledge of this situation nor have read the article … I mean seriously underware? did you even go to high school? Your comment is great and should be considered by no person. And lucky? I agree with Guru here .. no one is lucky in this situation, this affects more than just the 2 parties involved .. it affects their families and other people that came across this.
Jim, no one is lucky in a case like this regardless of the looks or body shape of the abuser. It is abuse and rape. These type of relationships are not healthy plus it is one sided relationship with the older one preying on the younger and weaker. Regardless of the gender.
I’d poke my eyes out and burn my cell phone if a picture of her in underware was sent to my cell phone. This student wasn’t one of the lucky ones to have a hot teacher chasing him. Too bad for him.
