Sean C. Dillon, 35, of Tumwater, Washington, a history teacher, boys basketball and girls tennis coach at Tenino High School in Tenino, Washington has been arrested on suspicion of first-degree sexual misconduct with a minor.
Reportedly Dillon came to the attention of police by way of a call on Friday from school officials who in turn had been contacted by a psychologist regarding Dillon. Few other details are available.
Dillon who has reportedly worked for the school for at least three years was called to the school superintendent’s office where he reportedly provided a statement and was subsequently arrested.
Dillon was booked into Thurston County Jail on Friday night and was expected to be arraigned today in Thurston County Superior Court.

Sean Dillon was released from jail Monday with no charges filed because the statute of limitations for the alleged crimes has expired.
According to Thurston County Deputy Prosecuting Attorney John Skinder the female accuser, now 23, alleges that the criminal sexual misconduct by Sean C. Dillon occurred when she was between 16- and 18- years old.

Sean if your reading this site and I think you are since you should have plenty of time on your hands. I want you to know that I have had two kids through Tenino Schools and your classes. You need to know that you really are just a pathetic excuse for a teacher as well as a coach! Even long before this came out our family felt that you were a pathetic person. You never embraced any of the kids that really needed a mentor rather you pushed them away as if you were to good for them! All the while keeping your torred little secret! You are not some special BB coach, lets look at playoffs last year you were so afraid to sit some of the kids that couldnt hold onto the ball all the while you had perfectly capable players sitting on the bench! I could write all day long but your really not worth the time of day and believe someday when the “CHILDREN” are grown adults they will back and to see how pathetic you really are!

What the hell is wrong with you people?
How do you say with a straight face the following:
“He is a loving father with two kids and a he is a great person and a good teacher” AFTER acknowledging that he did what the story indicates he did!?!?
A loving father DOES NOT cheat on the mother of his children with an underage girl who is under his care as a teacher.
A great person DOES NOT blatantly violate the law and the trust of his students and their parents.
A good teacher DOES NOT abuse the power and privilege he has been given to work with these students by taking advantage of a girl who is LEGALLY incapable of providing consent.
If you’re going to judge a person by their actions then judge them by ALL their actions. Last I checked, committing felonies makes a guy a pretty big scumbag by any definition.
If this guy had any class he would resign and vow never to work with children again. I’m betting he doesn’t because people like you have no problem overlooking his deviant, perverted crimes.

Dear if you only knew!
The biggest question I would have for you and everyone who thinks they knew this was going on. WHY DIDNT ANY of you SAY A DARN THING? Shame on you, shame on the teachers! Shame on the Principal! I have read alot of posts regarding this issue and I am getting more and more disgusted when I keep hearing “Oh everyone Knew” ARE you kidding me?
Dillon was not a good teacher! I have had 2 kids go through his classes and both of them are History ignorant! He was to busy trying to be the cool teacher and spending time with the T.As rather than teaching history! His little “open door” policy was a joke! As for a coach; our town treated him as if he was dipped in gold and the his gym floor was sacred ground…I would beg to differ on his pathetic coaching style! He is an evil person and maybe someday when these children are adults they will see a different view.
As far as her being willing, I dont disagree that this was the case but lets remember that she was ONLY 16 and NO 16 year old knows what she wants! His job was to keep the line between them to be the adult, the married father! and he didnt do that instead he took advantage of an inocent girl. I to would ask where is this case now, have any other girls come forward?

I just happened to be looking in the paper and didn’t see anything. I have heard rumors but nothing factual. I’d rather not comment on any rumors. I highly dout that he will ever teach again anywhere. I’m sure that his confession will go on his record though.

Just curious as to what the latest is on this case? Are there other victims? Did he lose his teaching certificate? Is he still on paid administrative leave? Did his wife and kids (who are the real victims in this case) leave him? Does anyone know?

This is to the ‘If you only knew’ people out there… Yes, you may have been witness to the ‘outside’ appearance of this, but again, I must remind you that this girl was only 15 years old when this statred. Dillon was nearly 30…and married. As I mentioned before, Child pedators spend a lot of time grooming their victams, raping their minds FIRST. Remember, he was suppose to be her taecher. The person she could look up to for guidance, direction, someone who was ‘master’ at the sport she dearly loved…he was already a hero to her before he ever started preying on her. I understand that you are also a young adult and may not understand how manipulation works, but keep this ‘lesson’ fresh in your mind at all times. Someday you may have a young child, boy or girl, that you could recognize early on all of the warning signs. Believe me, everyone connected to victams of child molestation wish they could have been better educated before something like this happened to their son or daughter. Consider this part of your education…

Ok so here goes…. not only as a former student to Dillon but as someone who grew up along side the female “victim” as you like to call her. Man if I could see her right now I would have a lot to say to her. It was fully known when we were in school what was going on. Anyone even remotely close to her or him knew something was going on. EVERYONE knew about it and EVERYONE talked about it. It is a small school and is impossible to keep secrets, everyone is in everyone else business, like it or not. She was fully knowing and willing with the situation in my opinion. As soon as this happened I got so many phone calls and before names were released, actually hers still hasn’t, we ALL knew exactly the story. No surprises here. As for Dillon, yeah he should not have been involved with her it was wrong, but he is not a predator, he has not hurt anyone and will never hurt anyone. He is a loving father with two kids and a he is a great person and a good teacher-If you know the age of his kids then you know the affair was over before both of them-. Tenino School District has some awful teachers and they just keep getting worse. Losing Dillon is really going to hurt the already suffering high school. Dillon will probably never be able to teach again and I can only hope he finds another career in which he can support his family and be happy.

Perhaps you missed the arctical that was in the Olympia paper on Sept. 23rd. I will quote it for you as it was written, confirming the fact that Dillon DID confess:
” Thurston County Prosecuting Attorney John Skinder said the female accuser, now 23, alleges that the criminal sexual misconduct by her former teacher, Sean C. Dillon, now 35, of Tumwater occurred when she was between the ages of 16 and 18 years old.
However, there is a three-year statute of limitations for the charge of first-degree sexual misconduct, Skinder said.
The statute of limitations starts on the date of the last alleged sexual conduct between the teacher and the former student. Because that occurred more than three years ago, charges cannot be filed, Skinder said.
“Right now he has been released,” Skidner said of the teacher. “That decision has been made because of the legal issue. The court doesn’t have jurisdiction of the crime that did not occur during that statutory period”
Dillon teaches high school history and coaches boys basketball and girls tennis at Tenino High School, Tenino police have said. Tenino Schools Superintendent Russell Pickett said Monday night that he is on paid administrative leave.
Tenino Police Chief Joe Vukich has said that school district officails called police Friday after a psyychologist contacted the district about the teacher. After police arrived at the superintendent’s office, Dillon “provided a statement” and was arrested, Vukich has said.
SKIDNER SAID THAT THE TEACHER “GAVE A STATEMENT ACKNOWLEDGING SEXUAL CONDUCT.” End of Quote…Hopefully this answers your question for his confession and admission of guilt. One can only question now, how many other persons are out there living the same Hell as the girl who finally stepped forward?!

By the way HE WAS NOT FALSELY ACCUSED. He acknowledged it happened
