(05/19/08 - Initial BBT Report)
Scott Rogers, 33, a second-grade teacher at Thomas Edison Charter School - South in Nibley, Utah has been arrested on two counts of aggravated sexual abuse of a child.
Rogers who has been at the school for three years is suspended for the remainder of the current school year and has resigned effective at the end of the current school year.
Little information on the alleged victim is available, including whether the alleged victim is a student at the school.

05/21/08 - Rogers Free on Bond
Rogers was released from the Cache County Jail after posting a $40,000 bond.

The guy is an accused pedophile and you’re upset that people are making fun of how he looks? Really…the guy looks freakish. And I am sick and tired of people stating that someone is being “unjustly” accused based on their personal experience with the man. Unless you have specific knowledge that leads you to believe the allegations are false, then your statements that he is being unjustly accused is irresponsible.

I work with Scott Rodgers and I believe that he has been unjustly accused. He’s a sweet and concerned teacher. To judge someone by looks alone is fairly shallow.
