Ryan Christopher Janssen, 31, a former health and physical education teacher at Norwalk High School, in Norwalk, Iowa has been charged with sexual-exploitation after a former student comes forward with allegations that she had a two year long “affair” with Janssen.
The now 18-year-old female told Norwalk police that she began a sexual relationship with Janssen while she was a 16-year-old junior at Norwalk High School.
Reportedly the girl graduated earlier this year.
The alleged victim has told police that Janssen promised to leave his wife for her and that Janssen bought her clothes, a ring, a living room set, a flat-screen TV and a cellular phone.
Reportedly Janssen admitted the sexual relationship to school officials last weekend and resigned effective September 2nd.
Janssen could face up to five years in prison if convicted.

Alright.
Well, I did not know Mr. Janssen as much as some of you did. He was my PE teacher for a period of time, and to be honest, I did get a little creep vibe from him. As some of you have written, I do agree with how he did flirt with girls. Girls flirted with him too! Girls flirt with every male teacher. My father is a teacher, and girls will flirt with him!
When I heard about this, I could not believe it. I honestly did not think something like this could happen in Norwalk, but i have figured out it happens everywhere. I was not really happy when I heard this. I was very shocked. To me, Janssen was a very nice man, and a great teacher. He was strict, but a very fun guy. As I said before, I got weird vibes from him.
The girl in this made a poor decision. So did Janssen. We all make poor decisions. I’m glad Janssen decided to quit this, and she put it out in public. It did hurt many, but it’s better to know now then later. I’m also glad that the middle school has a great new health and PE teacher. Both teachers are very, very, good at their jobs.
It just goes to say, that we all make poor decisions. In this case, the poor decisions caused major consequences. I pray for Janssen’s family, his wife and two children. I hope they are okay. I also hope Janssen’s okay. It’s very shocking, but we all must deal with it.

Honestly janssen you did wrong but you did well. I know you didnt mean to intentionally do such a wrongful thing. Everyone knows this now adult individual is a women out of this world unbelievable. She never did settle for anyone in high school and now we see why. Seriously she was the talk of that school. She is beautiful yet she doesnt come across as though she knows it. This women is going to be very successful in life and will make her husband more than words can express happy. Janssen things may be rough now but i know you ll pull through. I can almost guarantee you wont get sentenced. You certainly had something special about you to win her heart and be her first love. My one concern is that you took advantage of her. I so strongly believe that you two really loved eachother. Yet if this isnt true i believe your a very disgusting criminal. There are more people than you will ever know that care so very much for this individual. Everything she has been through and the beautiful women she is today cant compare to any other girl out there. I was always head over heels for her but i knew there was never a chance. If it was meant to be i would love to see that this relationship may have been wrong but it took consequences to make it work. If thats so and you are meant to be then so be it. If your letting go Ryan this girl will be taken within only a small amount of time. Men i know and many others would do anything just to have a single night out with her. If your in love with her get her back now! You may have sacrificed many things your job, wife, kids, but ask yourself this were you doing what your heart spoke to do? You knew it was wrong but you kept moving forward because it felt so right? just a few things to think about. I am most certainly on her side of this all. This may make or break her heart in the end i dont know. I would hope that if you truly had feelings for her you are still in love with her as though you should be. I love her take care of her. Good luck with everything and i hope you make the right decision.

honestly,everyone like him and i guess he liked them back? just in a creapy way,
but he tought us to report sex offenders and then wht does he do?!?!
he goes and haves sex with his student!!
