Ronald Eugene Lewis, 37, a soccer coach and a computer lab manager at Newsome High School in Lithia, Florida has been arrested on allegations of unlawful sexual activity with a 17-year-old female student.
Lewis is charged with seven counts of unlawful sexual activity with a minor and was being held on bond totalling $52,500.
It is alleged that Lewis and the victim had sex numerous times between February of 2007 and November of 2007 and that the sexual activity took place at his residence and in his Jeep Wrangler.
2/12/08 - Teen Described Coach’s Tattoos and Home
During a search of the Lewis home deputies were attempting to confirm a description a teenage girl gave of the man’s unclothed body and descriptions of the interior of his home.
Lewis is currently free on bail.
04/21/08 - Not Guilty Plea
Today Ronald Lewis entered a not guilty plea to charges of unlawful sexual activity with a minor.
11/12/08 - Guilty Plea and Sentence
In what is being described as a “sweet deal”, Ronald Lewis has pleaded guilty to one count of illegal sex with a child and has been sentenced to one year of house arrest and nine years of sex offender probation.
Additionally Lewis is to never teach or coach again and will be required to register as a sex offender for 10 years.
The plea deal between Lewis and prosecutors was the result of the alleged victim refusing to be deposed or to testify at trial leaving prosecutors few if any options other than the “sweet deal” offered Lewis.

i went to bdale and he would always flirt with the girls and take off his shirt, and show everyone his nipple piercings and stuff.
I wouldnt be suprised if he got down with some bdale girls too.

and this dosnt suprise me
right when the coah started this year all the girls were on him
evrey girl thought he was so “hott”
he was also a conslour and some girls would pretend to have a fight so their teachers would have to send them down to him
many girls went up to him all threw out the day. basically throwing them selves at him
even me and some of my friends would change are dirction to our class to get a good look at him.
this sounds crazy bout some girls would even get in trouble having to go to i.s.s just cause he was also one of the i.s.s teachers
but he should have stop him self.
he was a cool person even the guys like him he was really chilled and not like the other staff members.
