Ronald Borman

Ronald Borman, 61, a former teacher at Kammerer Middle School in Louisville, Kentucky has been indicted by a federal grand jury on charges of receiving and possessing child pornography two years ago.

Borman came to the attention of authorities in 2006 when he was caught up in an Internet sex sting. A detective posing as a child in Florida struck up an Internet relationship with Borman and Borman eportedly sent him child porn over the Internet. It was also alleged that Borman got on a web cam nude and started discussing sex with the detective posing as a 13-year-old.

Florida detectives then notified Louisville Metro Police about Borman and officers there began an investigation.

According to Louisville Metro Police detectives, Borman’s computer contained over 304 still images and 24 movie files containing child pornography.

Borman has been serving a 21 month sentence in Florida as a result of the Internet sting and now faces a minimum of five years in prison if convicted on the federal charges.

Borman’s trial is currently set for January 20th.
