Rodney Sexton, 27, a former music teacher and assistant band director at Groesbeck High School in Groesbeck, Texas has been indicted by a Limestone County grand jury on a charge of improper relationship between an educator and student.

Sexton is charged on allegations that he engaged in an improper relationship with an “underage girl” on or about February 12th of this year.
Reportedly Sexton resigned from his post at the school early last spring.
Authorities have not released much information on the case and have refused to provide any information on the alleged victim other than that she is an “underage girl”.
Following his indictment by the grand jury, Sexton reportedly turned himself in to authorities and was subsequently released on $20,000 bond.
Sexton was arraigned on August 19th and his next court appearance will be next month. No trial date has been set.
