Robert W. Johnson, 44, a music teacher at Montini Catholic High School in Lombard, Illinois has been arrested and charged with battery on allegations of inappropriately touching of a student last week.

According to the school’s attorney, the student was a male and that the incident allegedly occurred in a classroom.
Following his arrest Johnson was jailed with bail was set at $5,000.
His next court appearance is set for March 27th.
Reportedly Johnson’s employment with the school ended last week.
07/02/08 - Guilty Plea
Robert Johnson has pleaded guilty to misdemeanor battery of the 18-year-old male student by grabbing the boy’s “private parts” as a disciplinary measure.
Under the plea deal Johnson was sentenced to 2 years of supervision, ordered to perform 100 hours of community service, ordered not to resume a teaching career or have any public service employment around juveniles and to receive counseling approved by the probation department.
