(2/27/08 – Initial BBT Report)
Robert Hursh, 56, a a social studies teacher at DeKalb High School, in DeKalb, Illinois has been arrested and charged with four counts of aggravated criminal sexual abuse of a victim under the age of 17.
The alleged abuse occurred over a four-year period starting in 1998 and the alleged victim was not a student of Hursh’s.
Following his arrest, Hursh was subsequently released from the DeKalb County Jail after posting $50,000 bond.
The victim and their family members made their first allegations against Hursh in September 2007.

He’s back at the high school teaching again, and from what I’ve heard was found innocent.

At my age, sleeping on the job seems like a “well deserved nap”.
I did notice however that “Enough already” did not provide even one link to a news report or court record which we might use in an update. Of course no shame in that, as I can’t find any such link either.

Trusting that you will post this update in as prominent a place as the original (false) charges. All charges related to this silly case have been dropped, based on the fact that the prosecution team realized that the charges were absolutely, completely the figment of the imagination of the accusor.
A shame, really, that Mr. Hursh’s reputation was trashed as a result of someone whose grasp with reality is tenuous, at best.
