Robert Howard Williams, 62, of Sanford, Florida and a seventh-grade teacher at Millennium Middle School has been arrested on 50 counts of possession of child pornography.

Officers with the Seminole County Sheriff’s Office reportedly received complaints about Williams online activities, include that of a 19-year-old former student of Williams who was concerned owing to the number of young girls that appeared in Williams “friends” list on MySpace.com.

Investigators contacted Williams and when they examined his home computer they allegedly found numerous photos of children engaged in oral sex and sexual intercourse.

Williams is being held on $150,000 bond.

05/21/08 - Guilty Plea and Sentence

Robert Williams pleaded no contest last Thursday to eight counts of possessing child pornography.

As a result of his guilty plea, Williams was sentenced to 30 months in state prison to be followed by six months of house arrest and 10 years of probation.
