Robert DiLullo, 24, a substitute teacher at Ocean City High School in Ocean City, New Jersey has been arrested on charges alleging he had sex with a 16-year-old female student.
Police allege that DiLullo had sex with the girl both at his residence and at the school.
It is further alleged that DiLullo gave the girl alcohol and that once at his house he had sex with her while she was drunk and unconscious.
The alleged victim has told police that her relationship with the teacher started in December and that they engaged in sexual acts inside empty classrooms at Ocean City High School.
Following his arrest DiLullo was reportedly released on $100,000 bond.
08/15/08 - Guilty Plea
Robert DiLullo pleaded guilty this afternoon to a single count of endangering the welfare of a child.
As part of his plea deal with prosecutors DiLullo will be sentenced on Oct. 31 to 364 days in the Cape May County jail to be followed by five years of probation.
In court DiLullo admitted that gave a female student alcohol on multiple occasions and engaged in oral sex with her in August of last year.
10/31/08 - Formal Sentencing
Today Robert DiLullo was officially sentenced to one year less 1 day in jail.
DiLullo will have to serve 77 of the 364 days before he is eligible for parole.
DiLullo will not be allowed to teach again or serve in public office.

I went to high school with this guy and he was a perv back then. He only liked freshmen who looked like kids… even as a senior, as a college student as well. Creep. He basically stalked me.

Peter Rabbit..you quite possibly could be the smartest person to peruse this website. It’s hilarious how many contradicting messages we send our teenagers nowadays: Contradiction numero 1) you’re old enough to sleep with a 50 year old man as long as you are over 16 and he’s a plumber, lawyer, US Congressman (in the case of the MANY page scandals)..but if he’s a teacher.. you can’t sleep with him. But it’s ok if you do..HE will be the only one to suffer. 2) You’re old enough to be tried as an adult if you CHOOSE to commit a felony..because YOU HAVE THE MENTAL CAPACITY TO KNOW THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN RIGHT AND WRONG..BUT if you sleep with your teacher..then somehow that same brain that was developed enough to know right and wrong before is the mind of a “poor, defenseless child”..RIDICULOUS! ALL PEOPLE LIKE PETER RABBIT AND I WANT IS FOR “ADULTS” TO CHOOSE..YES..CHOOSE..either a 16/17 year old is an adult or a child..and if it’s the former..then NEVER the case should be that they are treated as adults..licenses should be issued at 18..no matter what they do, a 17 year old should not be prosecuted as an adult..and, above all, they should NOT be allowed to have sex with anyone over 18.. of course I don’t agree with these changes, but at least they don’t screw with them minds of our youth.

Peter Rabbit. I would love to hear what you propose as punishment for children who are sexually assaulted by adults. Prison? How about execution?

I’m not saying what he did wasn’t wrong, it was wrong. What I’m saying is that the girl is wrong too, just as wrong as he is. She has to take responibility for her actions. She surly wasn’t raped, therefore, she participated willingly. The only difference between them is he goes to jail and she gets off. Hopefully she won’t be getting off with other teachers, her friends’ fathers, her uncles, or any other adults for awhile.

Once again Peter Rabbit you show your complete and utter ignorance. I don’t care if she did the whole football team, basketball team, or every male student for three counties. The fact that she did anything with a teacher makes the TEACHER WRONG, WRONG, WRONG, WRONG, WRONG. I hope you know what that word means.
