Robert DiLullo, 24, a substitute teacher at Ocean City High School in Ocean City, New Jersey has been arrested on charges alleging he had sex with a 16-year-old female student.
Police allege that DiLullo had sex with the girl both at his residence and at the school.
It is further alleged that DiLullo gave the girl alcohol and that once at his house he had sex with her while she was drunk and unconscious.
The alleged victim has told police that her relationship with the teacher started in December and that they engaged in sexual acts inside empty classrooms at Ocean City High School.
Following his arrest DiLullo was reportedly released on $100,000 bond.
08/15/08 - Guilty Plea
Robert DiLullo pleaded guilty this afternoon to a single count of endangering the welfare of a child.
As part of his plea deal with prosecutors DiLullo will be sentenced on Oct. 31 to 364 days in the Cape May County jail to be followed by five years of probation.
In court DiLullo admitted that gave a female student alcohol on multiple occasions and engaged in oral sex with her in August of last year.

364 days in jail? i dont see that as being enough. even nice guys mess up nr1. why should he not be charged with anything? he did something wrong,and should be punished.

To anonymous 4:You are right kids make up stories.That is why police departments do not just take there word for it.They investigate and arrest when they find evidence that supports the students claim.In this case it is the usual suspect text messages.So to all the teachers that worry about being falsely accused I have some simple advice.Do not give out your cell phone number/personal E-mail address to students.Do not ask students for theirs.If they get your number somehow and call you report it to admin.Do not invite students to your home.If a student is having problems send them to the school counselor that is what we are paying them for.As much as you may think it is this is not your job.You are their to teach not be a social worker.

Are you kidding? So you know this girl personally? Thats funny cuz I am and very close friend with the girl and theres extremely hard evidence against him, so i think people should learn the story before pointing the finger at her.
But even if she was crazy and made up stories.. he TURNED HIMSELF INTO STATE POLICE. So why would an innocent man do that?????

So I guess this website has a degree in criminal law and has already tried and convicted this man to put his picture up and label him a “BAD BAD TEACHER”. The girl in question is known to make up stories about herself to get out of sticky situations. She has a long history of this and other “questionable” behavior which I’m sure will come up in the course of the next few months. It sickens me that Gregg Donahue and website “Badteacher.com” go to the “small town-witch hunt” mentality of ruining a person before they’ve even had the chance to defend themselves. Shame on you.

bob was a perv in college, and i see not much has changed. i was not at all suprised his mugshot on the 6 o’clock news.

WOW! under no circumstances should this loser be defended! he is a 24 year old MAN and should have the common sense to know right from wrong, especially if he is trusted in a good school district. He is screwed for the rest of his life! he will never get a job anywhere and its his own fault, no one should feel sorry for this idiot! If anyone even thinks that he did not know how old this girl was, then thats a bunch of (****) too because he was with her for over six months and he was probably her sub. People don’t be so naive. This guy deserves serious jail time! I cant wait to see him get it!

okay so bobby d. as we all know him is a very geniune nice guy. i believe he shouldn’t be charged with anything, but purchasing alcohol for a minor. what adult hasn’t bought a minor alcohol?
