(5/25/07 - Initial BBT Report)
Robert Brewer, a third-grade teacher at Campton Elementary School, in Campton, Kentucky has been indicted on charges of sexually abusing two children under the age of twelve between September, 2006 and April, 2007.
Brewer was arrested on two counts of molestation with a minor and two counts of sexual abuse of a child under 12. The mother of one of the alleged victims has stated that both of the children are students in Brewer’s class.
The mother of one of the alleged victim’s has stated in media reports:
Her third grade teacher is Mr. Brewer and she came to me one night and told me he had been touching her inappropriately. That’s the worst part. You tell your kids to listen to their teachers and she just listened to her teacher and he abused her trust really really bad.
A mother testifying before the grand jury which indicted Brewer said:
One mother testified to the grand jury and the girls say they witnessed Brewer abusing another one of their classmates.
She says her daughter’s abuse became so bad she wouldn’t wear shorts or skirts to school.
Brewer was arrested on Thursday night and is set for a court appearance on June 7th.
Update 8/31/07:
Reportedly Robert Brewer was indicted on a third sexual abuse complaint last week and will appear in court to answer to the new charges on September 6th.

YOUR GOOD HONEST MORAL TEACHER WAS INDICTED AND CHARGED AGAIN ON A 4TH CHILD. TO JIM YOU ARE RIGHT WHAT GOES AROUND COMES AROUND AND ROBERT DIDN’T HAVE TO PAY FOR WHAT HE DID THE FIRST TIME SO MAYBE THIS TIME HE WILL!

ALSO..I THINK THESE PARENTS THAT ARE TRYING TO GET MONEY BY USING THEIR KIDS SHOULD BE HELD ACCOUNTABLE..ALSO THE PROSECUTORS IN THIS CASE SHOULD BE HELD ACCOUNTABLE ..THERE WAS SIMPLY NOT ENOUGH EVIDENCE TO GO TO TRIAL…THE CONCERNED MOM WHO WROTE A COMMENT ABOVE IS THEY TYPE OF PERSON WHO LOVES TO TRY AND RUIN PEOPLES LIVES BECAUSE THEY HAVE NOTHING BETTER TO DO AND MOST LIKELY ARE TRYING TO COVER UP SOME BAD THING IN THEIR OWN LIFE…YOU SHOULD BE ASHAMED AND WHAT GOES AROUND COMES AROUND…

HE WAS AQUITTED OF ALL CHARGES YESTERDAY 11/29/2007…THE GIRL ADMITTED TO LYING…HE WASN’T EVEN TEACHING AT THE SCHOOL WHERE SHE WENT…IT’S A DAMN SHAME THAT A MAN LOSES EVERYTHING BECAUSE THE PUBLIC WANTS TO GO ON A WITCH HUNT…….

I forgot to respong to the ” He was also arrested this week for trafficking coccaine and money laundering.” this was also incorect. There was a person who was arrested for this incident, but it was not him. It was another person. So………what’s with all the false information here?

This article makes me sick…Bad Bad Teacher?? What’s with that. First of all, the facts are wrong here. This is a person’s life that is totally ruined if he is or isn’t guilty. If he isn’t, AND he isn’t, his life is destroyed. I teach and I know what happens this day and time. I also know that this teacher did not do what he is accused of doing. So, I think that before you print an article that says BAD BAD TEACHER, you should most definitely get the facts straight first.

This man has been charged with 2 more children. now 4. He was also arrested this week for trafficking coccaine and money laundering. This is truly a BAD BAD teacher.
