Richard Spangler

Richard R. Spangler, 40, a math teacher at Harrison Middle School in Harrison, Michigan has been arrested on charges of second-degree child abuse and lewd and lascivious conduct.

It is alleged that Spangler had “inappropriate contact” with students.

Following arraignment Spangler was released on $5,000 personal recognizance bond.

Guilty Plea and Sentence

Richard Spangler has pleaded guilty to lewd and lascivious conduct.

Spangler was sentenced to serve a year of probation and ordered not to have contact with anyone age 17 or younger and to surrender his teaching license.
