Quentin Lindsey, head varsity baseball coach at Byram Hills High School in Armonk, New York has reportedly been arrested and charged with second-degree unlawful surveillance, which is a felony.
Although the exact nature of the allegations against Lindsey have not been revealed, reportedly rumors at school Friday were that that cameras were found inside the girls locker room and that a teacher had been arrested.
Police have thus far refused to reveal any information other that to say that recording had been done on persons who had a reasonable expectation of privacy and was being done without the victims’ knowledge or consent.
Lindsey has reportedly been suspended and barred from the school.
Reportedly Lindsey was arraigned and subsequently released without bail.
09/23/08 – Guilty Plea
Quentin Lindsey pleaded guilty today to illegally filming female students in school between January 1st and June 1st of last year.
Lindsey was not sentenced to any jail time but must follow terms of sex-offender probation for one year to receive an additional five years probation at his sentencing next year.
In addition Lindsey must surrender his teaching license within 30 days and is prohibited from being on school property or contacting Byram Hills faculty, students or parents.
Lindsey resigned from his position at the school yesterday.
