Nicole Sirbu

Nicole Marie Sirbu, 29, a former teacher at Stony Creek Elementary School in Littleton, Colorado and a coach for the combined Columbine and Chatfield High School pole-vaulting team has been indicted by a grand jury on a charge of tampering/destruction of physical evidence.

In September 2007 the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office began investigating Sirbu in the wake of allegations of “inappropriate sexual contact” between Sirbu and a 17-year-old member of the Columbine pole-vaulting team.
It is alleged that Sirbu exchanged numerous e-mails with the student using her work e-mail address and her work laptop. It is also alleged that Sirbu became aware of the investigation and resigned her job on October 1st.
When Sirbu turned in her school district-issued laptop a few days later, investigators discovered the original hard drive in the computer was gone and that it had been replaced with a new one. Investigators say that records from the Best Buy store in Lakewood, Colorado indicate that Sirbu used her credit card to purchase a new hard drive of the same size as found in the school laptop turned in by Sirbu.
Sirbu is free on $1,000 bond and is set to appear in court next month.

Nicole Sirbu seems to have outsmarted the cops, she probably destroyed any evidence. She was smart by removing the old hard drive, before returning her issued laptop. The only reason she may have for removing the original hard-drive, is that she didn’t want to return a computer with sensitive information, bank account numbers, passwords, and pin numbers. Why would she use a work computer for personal stuff? She could also argue that the computer was broken, and she didn’t want to return a broken computer. This isn’t likely, why would she spend her own money to fix a computer that isn’t hers? Most people would return a laptop in whatever condition, regardless if it was in working or not. This only makes her look guilty.
It’s been over a year since Sirbu was arrested, and if the cops had any evidence they would have used it by now. This all has me wondering, why didn’t the cops confiscate the kids computer?
I have to give credit to Nicole, she’s more than likely guiltily, but she was smart enough to remove the original hard-drive. Kudos Nicole, you’re scum but you‘re are smart scum, and that’s all that matters. She‘s wasting her time teaching, with a devious mind like hers, she should be in some type of law enforcement. She probably would have no qualms with planting evidence, making false statements, beating suspects or having sex with them (hey, a girl has to have some fun).
Nicole isn’t the type of scum that I want teaching the youth of America. She’s the type of scum I want protecting the streets of America.

I can’t believe no one’s gone here yet, but: She can pole vault on me, anytime.

Holy crud! I went to high school with her and I can’t believe this! I was never friends with her but she was one of the rare popular kids who didn’t treat everybody like they were lesser people. She was also (and still is) very hot! I remember hearing about her off and on throughout the years (graduated 12 years ago) and how well she was doing. I wonder why the hell she came back to Littleton?? Anyway, sorry to see that she is having troubles….

Nah, Nicole wasn’t protecting anyone but herself. Her own actions condemn her. She can be charged with tampering with government property, theft of the programs on the hard drive, and obstruction. Will any of it ever stick? Probably not. She was fresh off a divorce, the studly young track and field guys looked good to her. Yep, I believe she was abou to the do the dirty if she hadn’t already. But I do have a problem understanding why any woman who dresses up nice like I’m sure she does wouldn’t just go out and snag a guy her own age. Unless she just totally nutso and guys her own age said too crazy for me.

Interesting how everyone jumped to a conclusion on this. A wrong one I may add. She always has been a highly respected coach. ANY person that turns in a computer with ANY personal information on it in this day and age is NUTS! Obviously if she bought a replacement with a charge card she was not trying to hide anything. Of coarse she had to resign to protect her students. And the grand jury did NOT charge her with anything as there was NO evidence. So the pole vaulting obviously did not confirm this either, so there was nothing to report on this or she would have been charged. Now she is charged because she bought a hard drive?? To hide evidence on a charge she was not even convicted of?? And this doesn’t sound like a set up to you all? Open your eyes people!

UNBELIEVABLE !!! She is released on a $1000 bond ??? She has obviously destroyed evidence and had relations w/student and she gets a slap on the hand… I agree jail time for her, this is the type of sentence that needs 2 set the example… bet she can’t get her job back at Sta….ks !

So she is destroying hard drives and things like that which maybe contain e-mails and other messages on her pc. I wonder if she will even see any type of punishment for doing something like that. When i say punishment, I mean jail time. I doubt that she will.
