Nicholas Thomas, 26, a social studies teacher at Cortland Junior-Senior High School in Cortland, New York has been arrested and charged on allegations of the rape of a 15-year-old female student.
Thomas has been charged with charged with third-degree rape and two misdemeanor counts of endangering the welfare of a child.
Reportedly police, as part of their investigation, searched Thomas’ classroom last week. Thomas was arrested on Saturday and subsequently released on $1,000 bail. His next court date is set for June 18th.
Reportedly Thomas, who has been with the school for two years, has been suspended without pay.
06/12/08 – More Alleged Victim, More Charges
More alleged victims have came forward and more charges have been filed against Nicholas Thomas.
Thomas is now facing additional counts of sexual abuse, child endangerment, and forcible touching.
Following his arrest on the new charges he was once again released on bail.

Mr. Thomas did not do (****) to those girls. They got mad for some odd (******) reason, like getting a bad grade or something. PLUS they started talking to him sexually and saying they wanted to have sex with him and saying they wanted to have his babies and (****). I mean, come on, who says that to a teacher!!! They only wanted attention, especailly that girl who came forward first about it. She’s gone around school saying she married michael jackson, she was pregnant, how badly she wanted to be pregnant and who got kicked out of her previous school for lying about getting sexually harrassed and raped by a teacher there. Who are you gonna believe? Mr. Thomas who did absolutely nothing wrong… or the girl who goes around school lying about everything possible!! I believed Mr. Thomas because he was my psychology teacher and ss lab teacher, he never said sexual things to girls or tried to do anything to girls; if anything he talked about how annoying it was to have so many young girls coming up to him saying they wanted to have his babies and have sex with him. He was an awesome teacher, and deserves to innocent.

Okay, these are some serious allegations. As a future social studies teacher in a secondary school setting, I have to say that teachers definately have to be careful and aware of the situations that they are in at all times.

wow just wow…. there is no way in hell that mr t did this. Mr T is the best teacher i have ever had. If YOU DON’T KNOW Mr T then YOU can’t say anything GOOD OR BAD about him. There in know way in hell that Mr T did any of this! Mr T is is such a nice/cool/helpful guy that this can’t be true. It just can’t be.
