Michelle Farley, 40, a psychology teacher at Borah High School in Boise, Idaho has been arrested and charged with sexual battery of a teenage boy between 16 and 17 years old.
It is alleged that Farley admitted to police she had sexual contact with the student, who was 17 at the time.
It is further alleged that multiple incidents have occurred between the victim and Farley between May and October, 2008.
Farley has been arraigned on two counts of sexual battery of a child aged 16 or 17.
The judge set Farley’s bond at $10,000 and conditioned upon Farley not having any contact with anyone under 18 years of age, other than her own children.
Reportedly Farley has been with the school since 1994 and the school board is deciding whether it can place Farley on administrative leave but no decision has been made.
12/24/08 – Grand Jury Indictment
An Ada County grand jury has indicted Michelle Farley on eight counts of sexual battery of a student.
Her arraignment on the charges is set for January 12th.
Farley is currently on paid administrative leave from the school system.
01/16/09 – Not Guilty Plea
Michelle Farley has pleaded not guilty to eight counts of sexual battery during an appearance in a Boise courtroom this morning.
A judge ordered the married mother of two not to have any contact with children under 18 other than her own children.
04/17/09 – Guilty Plea
Reportedly, in a plea deal with prosecutors, Michelle Farley has pleaded guilty to a single count of sexual battery. As part of the plea deal, seven other sexual battery counts were dropped.
Farley will face up to one year in prison and 10 years of probation when sentenced, however a sentencing date was not set at today’s hearing.
Farley will reportedly have to register as a sex offender.
06/22/09 – Sentencing
Michelle Farley has reportedly received a 10-year suspended sentence.
She was also ordered to spend 6 months in the Ada County Jail and is required to successfully complete sex offender treatment while on probation.
Farley is required to register as a sex offender and not to have any contact with male juveniles under 18 except her own children.

I went to borah high i graduated in 2007 i saw this teacher every day around the school even though i did not have any classes with her. I find this type of “CRIME” absolutely halaiaroius come on what hetero sexual 17 year old kid did not fantasize about having sex with one of their female teachers. Not that i find ms. farley attractive. but is this relay a crime, i think she did the community a service and got some young horrny kid laid, i wish i could have had the pleasure of being “instructed” by one of my attractive teachers. its not like she raped him lol. i so shocked of seeing this its is just so hard to believe. I love it KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK MRS. FARLY!!!! Maybe ill go back to school for a second hs diploma and get some teacher on student action.

Hannibal Lecter was a master in the field of psychology and a pretty nice guy until you really got to know him. This woman is SICK. You don’t screw around with a (Deleted by site moderator) teenager and trash your family. That’s all I have to say about this.

Knows what it will do to the boy if boinks him? check Did it anyway because she’s realy just a piece of trailer trash? check. Boy proves that a knothole looks good to him when he does it with an ugly womasn over twice his age? check

The wisdom I’ve gained is that Michelle Farley likes to do the nasty with teenage boys.
she is a wonderful woman who made a bad choice. the young man, i cant speak for his character i dont know him, but he made a mistake as well. im sure he has learned going after a cougar isnt all fun and games. but it is not our place to judge michelle or this young man. but to pray for them and their families, as im sure this is hard as heck for them. one thing is for certain tho, this young man was not a “child” or a “little boy”. he knew what he wanted and what he was doing. 1 year doesnt turn him into a responsible adult. they are both wrong in this situation. i pray for them to gain wisdom from this as well as anyone affected by this event. god bless.
