***News Flash***
Ordinary people aren’t lining up to befriend grown men that pay teenage boys for some nude photography play. Strange world, but it’s true.
Although he may have plead guilty, it does mean he should never be forgiven…Mike needs his friends more then ever now, and that includes his colleagues. You don’t have to believe his innocent, you just have to be a friend to a friend in need.
I too worked w/ Tye and thought I knew him well, better than most actually, and what he did was establish trust with students and take advantage of them. As a teacher we establish relationships w/ our students and grow to care about them and them about us. It is a huge responsibility that can not be taken for granted. What This selfish Monster did was take advantage of a trust he built and it is just plain wrong. As for rhe kids who do so well on his AP exams, the do well b/c he goes class to class at the end of the year looking at report cards and hand picked most of them, taking them out of other peoples classes. He picks the kids that can read a review book and pass it on their own…give the credit for passing the exam to those students not him
