Michael Kosor, a fifth-grade math teacher at Kelly Elementary School in Wilkinsburg, Pennsylvania has been arrested and jailed on allegations tht he touched one of his students inappropriately in the boys’ bathroom.
Reportedly Kosor was arrested Tuesday on charges of indecent assault and corruption of minors after the parent of a 10-year-old boy told police her son was touched by his math teacher while he was using the restroom.
It is alleged that on on January 14th Kosor walked up behind the boy and touched his buttocks.
Reportedly Kosor has been placed on administrative leave by the school system.
Kosor is being held in lieu of $50,000 bond.
02/27/09 – Charges Dismissed
A judge has dismissed all charges against Michael Kosor.
At the preliminary hearing, the alleged victim testified someone touched his buttocks, at which point he pulled up his pants and ran out of the restroom.
The boy testified that he didn’t know who touched him and didn’t see his teacher in the bathroom.

What a shame. Mr. Kosor was my teacher at one point, and I know that he would never do that. Now his reputation is ruined thanks to the corrupt police. This site is a joke for publishing this.
this guy’s life is ruined because of an unproven accusation.
This case was outrageous. I hope Michael is able to sue the police and district attorney who set such a high bail on a case that obviously had no foundation and was not investigated.

WILKINSBURG, Pa. — A judge dismissed charges against a local teacher on Thursday that could have sent him to jail.
All charges were dropped against Michael Kosor, a fifth-grade math teacher at Kelly Elementary in Wilkinsburg. He had been accused of inappropriately touching one of his students in the boys’ bathroom.
During the preliminary hearing, the boy testified someone touched his buttocks, at which point he pulled up his pants and ran out of the restroom. He testified that he didn’t know who touched him and didn’t see his teacher in the bathroom.
Police arrested Kosor after a parent told authorities the 10-year old boy had been touched by his math teacher.
Kosor’s attorney said the experience was traumatic for Kosor and his daughter.
“It was very difficult for Michael after he was put through the rigors of being arrested. He was arrested at home,” said defense attorney Michael Santicola. “He was arrested at home. That didn’t have to happen, but it did. He was handcuffed in front of his daughter.”

this guys life is ruined-just because of what some 10 year old said.the kid did not even know who touched him. i cant believe this crap-hope the teacher sues this family.wish you the best mr kosor.
I agree with the previous posters…this is outrageous…the man’s reputation is ruined…and some kid…who could have been enticed to say this by a retaliatory principal…is able to ruin a man’s life…and reputation…
I hope Mr. Kosor sues…

Stupid cops. This is not a case, no investigation was done, no-one confessed, it is the word of a 10 year vs a teacher. $50,000 for bail when there is no evidence of a crime. This is dumb, he touch my butt, whatever, it sounds like the kid is lying.
So why was he arrested, because the cops are lazy, over weight and dumb. Arrest a person and placing a high bond is a tactic to get the teacher to confess to crimes that he may not have done.
I hope he sues the school, the cops and the kid’s family for 50x his bond.
