(04/21/08 - Initial BBT Report)
Melissa Kay Lee, 32, an English teacher at Atlanta High School in Atlanta, Texas has been arrested on allegations she had an improper relationship with a 16- year-old male student.
Lee has been charged with one count each of sexual assault and improper relationship between educator and student.
Following her arrest and booking Lee was released from the Cass County Jail on $25,000 bond.

WELL MRS.LEE WAS ONE OF MY TEACHERS AND SHE WAS ALSO ONE OF MY FAVORITES BUT WHAT SHE DID MAKES ME THINK TOTALLY DIFFERENT ABOUT HER! AND I NO IT WASNT WORTH IT NO MATTER HOW YOU LOOK AT IT! I FEEL SO SORRY FOR HER KIDS AND HER HUSBAND..NOW HER KIDS HAVE TO GROW UP WITHOUT THERE MOM BEING THERE ALL BECAUSE OF A 16 YEAR OLD BOY..THATS JUST SAD!!

well i think wat she did was stupid….i dont think she thought about wat she was doin when she did it…i feel sorry for her kids and her husband. and i wonder why she thought she needed someone else. she threw her life away from some kid she probably dont even care that much about. i also hope it was worth it.

I hope that 16 yr is worth her losing her job and maybe her freedom. But I highly doubt that she will lose her freedom. But her job is surely gone. Now is she was man and a little younger, she would be looking at 10 yrs min for doing that. LOL.
