Megan Kastner, 25, a former teacher at Lamar High School in Rosenberg, Texas has been arrested on accusations she had an improper relationship with a student.
Following her arrest Kastner was being held in the Fort Bend County Jail in lieu of $30,000 bond.
According to school officials, Kastner was fired last week after she allegedly confessed to having an inappropriate relationship with a student.
Kastner was in her first year in with the school and reportedly in only her second year as a teacher.

“Lame”, I’m sorry for the situation that you underwent, however, you know no details regarding the situation and for you to sit there with limited knowledge of the circumstances and make rash judgments is downright ignorant.
I’m not excusing the fact that Megan broke a state law, but it is extremely inappropriate for people to continue to bash her without ANY ounce of insight as to the details pertaining to her case. It’s real easy to sit opposite of the situation in a self-righteous “position”, however, just because you have been victimized does not give you a green light to pass judgment on her like you are God, and ASSUME that every situation is IDENTICAL TO YOUR OWN.
What people need to realize is that what is reported in the media is NOT always factual, and what is posted on these forums is NOT always accurate. It amazes me to read the comments of people judging an individual who made a decision that will most definitely scar and impact her in negative ways for the rest of her life… Isn’t that enough? Or must you keep going?
Simply stated, people need to quit sticking their nose in places where it doesn’t belong and let this young woman and young man (yes, I said man) move on from this situation with some peace.
No one knows how they have been affected except for their family and closest friends. People need to quit judging and making assumptions regarding the circumstances of it all.
Maybe one day Megan will write a book and expose the facts… until then… who the hell are WE to judge? Worry about your life and what you have going on in it and all YOUR imperfections and daily mistakes instead condemning this young women for being at the wrong place, at the wrong time, with the wrong person.
With that said, live YOUR life and quit obsessing over others. Leave the judging for the Man Upstairs. I’m sure none of us live in glass houses, right….? That’s what I thought.
