Matthew Wilson

Matthew Wilson, 51, an agriculture teacher at Somonauk High School in Somonauk, Illinois has been arrested for the second time in two weeks on allegations of improper conduct with female students.

On December 5th, Wilson turned himself in after a warrant was issued for his arrest for unlawful restraint and battery. In that case it was alleged that Wilson physically restrained two teenage girls on the school’s agricultural department property and kept them from leaving. Only one of those girls was a Somonauk student.

Following his first arrest, Wilson was released on $5,000 bond.

In the second case, Wilson a former student came forward after reading of Wilson’s arrest with allegations that Wilson had fondled and touched her inappropriately in December 2006, when she was still a student.

In the second case, Wilson was charged with aggravated criminal sexual abuse and was subsequently freed on $10,000 bond.

Wilson’s status with the school system is unknown at this time.

    Hi, Matt is a relative of mine so I know him very well. There is no one in my entire family that believes he would do anything like he has been accused of. We are sure of this. He has been at the school forever, & has always been thought very highly of. We are behine Matt all the way, as we know he is not capable of these allegations. I think some girls decided they couldnt get their way, somehow or another, so they decided to screw him over…..

    yes i had him as a teacher and he was the bester that i had. i had him for four years and i have been friends with him for 10. I just finished school in 2008 i had several classes with matt. I think that this all is just bull (****). he would not do that to somebody. why would he work there for about 30 years and just mess everything up with some dumb little girl. (Deleted by site moderator) i think that she just didnt like him b/c she was a mental person and i now that he didnt not do anything. branden
