Matthew James Stewart, aka “Jamie” Steward, 25, a math teacher and coach for track and field and boys and girls cross country teams at Cass High School in Cartersville, Georgia has been arrested on a sexual assault charge.

Stewart was arrested yesterday by the school district chief resource officer.

Reportedly Steward has been placed on administrative leave by the school.

School officials are refusing to provide any additional information on the alleged assault.
