Martin Corral

Corral was arrested on an allegation of lewd acts upon an 11-year-old boy, after search warrants were reportedly served on both his home in Ventura and his work place.

Police say that the alleged abuse occurred when Corral brought the boy from the Santa Barbara area to his residence in Ventura. Corral had allegedly befriended the boy’s family and had its consent to bring the boy home with him.

After being arrested and booked into the Ventura County Jail Corral was released on $50,000 bail.

Reportedly, the Ventura Police Department believes there may be additional victims in Ventura and Santa Barbara Counties and asks that anyone with information please contact Ventura Police at 805-339-4465.

I am the parent of one of his former students. I must say he was very forth coming and polite, he definatley made a name for himself in the hispanic community, always lending a helping hand, in all aspects of their lives.. He encourgaed people who otherwise would not get involved in their childrens education, to be involved, for that I commend him. At the same time, do your homework, classic petaphile profile he meets all the criteria’s. I dont want to pass judgement but cant help but be “angry”, could he have pulled the wool over my eyes? Did I not seen the obvious? There is no worst feeling for a parent, I feel that because he is such a well spoken and well educated man, that he would have fought tooth and nail to keep his good name intact, but he didnt, so to me he is guilty!!! May god have mercy on your soul, and shame on you for abusing so many parents and childrens trust, you deserve what you got coming to you..

i have known this man for a very looong time now…and is funny how soo many get on his side..witch i truly understand why..dont get me wrong he is one of the nicest and most educated man i know..but it doesnt change the fact that he is still a human being and over seein all his success and “politeness”, he aint no angel…i know this man did what he did no doubt…and for u young woman posting comments, u have no clue..this man was with lil boys 99% of the time not girls..im glad justice was brought to this man, i feel terrible how his going to be treated in prison by the inmates, but he should of thought of that before he tried those acts with the younger “boys”. It kills me postin this but is true, so for all u ppl that dont belive it is all good, continue having ur head up in the clouds but open ur eyes people, no matter how nice, how educated, how attractive or a w/e dont be fooled stay aware..one way or another u will get cought.

HE WAS SO FUNNY AND A COOL TEACHER.. THIS IS JUST A STUPID FAKE LIE!! I HATE IT WHEN LIL GIRLS OR LIL BOYS GO AND SAY IVE BEEN SEXUALLY ASSULTED AND THEY BELIVE THEM ADN THEY GET SEND TO PRISON FOR SOME YEARS.. THEIR IS NO FREEDOM IN THIS WORLD..WHY CANT IT CHANGE!!

  5. LIZETTE says:

I ABSOLUTELY THINK HE IS NOT GUILTY! HE WAS MY TEACHER IN ELEMENTARY SCHOOL AND HE NEVER TRIED TO HARM ANYONE, HE WAS THAT TYPE OF PERSON YOU CAN TRUST AND TURN TO WHEN YOU NEEDED HELP. PEOPLE SHOULDN’T JUDGE HIM IF THEY DON’T KNOW THE TRUTH.HE IS A NICE PERSON AND RESPECTFULL TO EVERYONE! BUT LIKE THEY SAY TRUTH ALWAYS COMES OUT,AND WHEN IT DOES ALOT OF PEOPLE WILL REALIZE YOU JUDGED WRONG!

I know this guy for the last 8 years.

I have no doubt he did. Sorry. He almost ALWAYS had a young boy with him at parties and such. I always found him strange and I always told my husband how I felt who by the way has known him for at least 15 years.

He did plead guilty, not “no contest”.

  7. Richard says:

Lindsay, a plea of “no contest” is not an admission of guilt. The plea usually occurs when someone feels that they will lose in court. Unfortunately, the police are very concerned with proving an accusation and not so concerned with questioning the accuser’s story. It would be nice if the police gave equal diligence to both sides and concentrated on finding the truth. It cost a lot of money to hire a lawyer and investigater to present your side. The deck is stacked against the teacher and he could have felt hopeless. Your reply was not very nice.

  8. Lindsay says:

Well now, you guys look like idiots since he pleaded no contest. God, I hope you aren’t a parent because I feel sorry for your kids if you are because they would have an idiot for a parent. [and] are the type of people that would let their kids go play & spend the night at Michael Jackson’s house.

  10. nora says:

I know him, he would never do anything to hurt a child. He goes up to everyone and gives them hugs, he cares about people. I think that people are just jumping into conclusions. He is not guilty. Although now a days you do need to watchout not to give kids that are not yours hugs, because people are always thinking the opposite. Another thing about him is that he tries to be a big brother, to kids that are in trouble so that maybe they can better themselves and not turn to the gang life.
