Lynn Lewallen

Vicky Lynn Lewallen, 44, a biology teacher and former girl’s basketball coach at Norman North High School, in Norman, Oklahoma has been charged with two counts of forcible sodomy and two counts of rape by instrumentation of a 16-year-old female student.

Lewallen who has been a teacher at Norman North High School since 1996 and was the girl’s head basketball coach from 1997 to 2004 is accused of carrying on the relationship with the girl by taking her from school during lunch breaks. There are also allegations of sexual activities taking place both at the school and at Lewallen’s home.

Lewallen was suspended with pay on May 4th when the allegations first surfaced.

Today she made an appearance in Cleveland County District Court and was released on her own recognizance.

If convicted Lewallen faces up to 20 years on each of the sodomy charges and up to life on the second degree rape charges.

1/09/08 - Preliminary Hearing

Vicky Lynn Lewallen appeared for a preliminary hearing and has been bound over for trial on sodomy and rape charges.

Her arraignment is set for March 13th.

05/11/08 - Arraignment

Vicky Lynn Lewallen has been formerly arraigned on two counts of forcible oral sodomy.

A not guilty plea was entered on her behalf and her next court date was set for September 8th.

    CHE, as one who takes delight in pointing out someone’s great faults, I have this to say: A man who lacks judgment derides his neighbor, but a man of understanding holds his tongue. (Proverbs 11:12). Every one that is proud in heart is an abomination to the LORD (Proverbs 16:5).

    Who are you to to tell anyone they are going to hell? For all you know, your proud heart will land you in the lake of fire right next to the person you are condemning.

    Homosexuality is wrong and the girl is just as wrong as the teacher for dabbling in the devil’s ways. They will both get what they deserve in an eternity of hell.

    Well the truth is out for all to read. It was not Rape it was consentual sex.

    Lets not judge this situation, live & learn - this type of beahvior has been going on for ions. This will be a wakeup call for them both.
