Lori Ann Schulz, 33, a former band teacher at Marshall Middle School and Junior High School in Marshall, Minnesota has been charged on allegations of having sexual contact with a 14-year-old female student.
It is alleged that Schulz had sexual contact with the girl, who was a junior high band member, from January to May of 2003.
Schulz has been charged with sexual conduct in the second degree and and sexual conduct in the fourth degree.
08/09/08 - Guilty
Lori Schulz has entered an Alford plea (no contest) a charge of criminal sexual conduct in the fourth degree.
In light of Schulz’s plea the criminal sexual conduct in the second degree count was dismissed.
Schulz received a stay of imposition on a sentence and must serve 90 days in jail.
Schulz must have no contact with the victim or the victim’s family and follow “other conditions” as well as pay a small fine.
