Me Again,
I wish I had the answer but I do not. I am human and can only offer the insight that I do have. The only thing that I can do is pray for all who are involved. You seem totally heartless if you cannot at least feel compassion for his plight. See, if you read my post you would understand that I feel compassion for everyone involved in this issue because it is sad all the way around.
Unfortunately, issues like this are of an immense impact on the lives of everyone involved. I did not come here to argue with you. All I have come to do is to pray for both sides because I want for you all to understand that there is suffering on both sides of this issue, not just Lee and not just the girl.
There are simply no winners in this case. None. No one can win in a situation where two lives are needlessly shattered. All I can do as a man of God is pray.
And understand, I have no hatred toward you Me Again, I love you and respect u for coming on here and sharing how you felt.
All I must say is that Lee is someone who I grew up with like family and I still have a lot of brotherly love for him and hope and pray that God is moving in his life in a mighty way. As for thr girl, I pray that God will stand with her and carry her through this. As it is written in the word “This too shall pass.”
If anything it is a blessing that you and I have the opportunity to communicate with one another. How’s this, instead of going back and forth, why not pray one for another.
Mr. Fred…
Darn – People are still talking “bad” about Lee only after a year of being in jail.
QUESTION: What is your solution for the girl that hears his name every other day in school?? What is your solution for the girl who has to walk down a different hall way so she can avoid other classmates saying “his name” when she walks by. What is your solution for the girl who can not ride her own bus because she hears “his name”. Please explain this to me.
This will not go away. We can not even go a day without thinking about it because we have other students remiding us everyday. Or just because there are certain roads we can drive down anymore. It has nothing to do with healing and moving on with your life. That just is not possible.
I’m sorry and I don’t mean to be harsh but I can not have any sympathy for Lee Holmes. Lee Holmes is not the only one that has to deal with “issues” everyday of their life.
Continuing in prayer and interceding for my brother in Christ, Lee Holmes. I just must say that nobody can judge anyone else because God said all sins hold equal weight in His eyes. That being said, I am not defending him but still feel that people continuing to bash him is unfair. He is paying his debt to society.
And don’t think that I’m saying this heartlessly because I have prayed for the young lady as she has suffered too. BUT . . . I pray for Lee too and that he be safe while he is absent from our society and that God continue to speak to his heart and move him to improve his life.
If God can forgive anything, why can’t we as a society? Come on people, It is time to forgive. Don’t forget, but forgive him and allow him to still reach toward the calling that God has on his life.
