(1/31/08 - Initial BBT Report)
Lee Alexander Holmes Junior, an eighth-grade teacher at Lockerman Middle School in Denton, Maryland has been arrested on child sex abuse and child pornography charges.
Holmes allegedly had a sexual relationship with a 13-year-old female student.
Holmes came to the attention of authorities when the mother witnessed the girl who had left without permission being dropped off at home.
The girl’s mother chased the vehicle at high speed until it crashed. The mother allegedly recognized Holmes as the driver of the crashed vehicle.
Holmes’ injuries were treated at a Baltimore hospital.
He was arrested on Wednesday.
10/15/08 - Guilty Plea
Lee Holmes has pleaded guilty to one count of second-degree sexual offense.
Under the terms of the plea agreement between prosecutors and Holmes, he will be sentenced to no more than 9 years in prison.
Holmes who originally faced six charges will be sentenced on October 30th.
10/31/08 - Sentencing
On Thursday Lee Holmes Jr. was sentenced to 9 years in prison.
Holmes will be required to register as a sex offender.

Im am not going to say my real name but what a sick man i remeber about a week before this happenend he was playing football with the kids on the after school program

Once more, I must say this. Let us not be so quick to judge. I am not in any way saying that he was right. BUT . . . as someone with a counseling background, I know for a fact that people who do these things have a lot of problems from their own childhood issues. I feel so sorry for this young lady and pray that God place His mighty hand on her life and heal her 100%. At the same time I also feel sorry for Lee because his own problems caused this and I pray constantly for him too that God heal him and show him that through the Lord’s love ALL ALL ALL ALL things are possible.
This is a tough issue to discuss because I understand all the way around.
@ the victim’s family - you have my sincerest sympathies and my prayers for the speedy healing of your child, and yes, there is healing for her mind, heart, and soul in Jesus’s name.
@ Lee - you are in my prayers. we do not hate you, we love you. you are one of God’s unique and precious creations. remember that Jesus said if ye repent I will hear from ye and heal thy land. healing is possible and you will be all right! God said that whatsoever you ask in His name, He will surely give it to you.
God bless everyone involved. We all may be hurting and not agree but we can all agree that we must continue to pray one for another.

Thank you so much for sharing your feelings. This was a rough time for everyone involve but the victim was not to blame. Hopefully the students will not be afraid to come forward in the future because they are afraid of the circumstances. We are not sure why anyone did not come forward…Not sure to protect the teacher, the student but think that the teachers only wanted to protect Ms. Gay - Holmes.

what this sick guy did was totally outrageous! there is absolutely no excuse for what mr. holmes did. i was in 7th grade at lockerman middle school when this happened, and i was sick to my stomach when i heard about this, especially since i knew the girl he had “feelings” for. and i know what they mean when they said he said he had “feelings” for her, he had the hots for her in other words. what a sick man. i hope he really gets the help he needs, he needs serious mental help and probably a good beating too.

Lee is doing ok…. as well as can be expected, he is in prison after all….He is taking it day by day…. The letters and support from his friends and family are keeping him hanging in

Once more I must say that my prayers are for everyone involved including Lee. My heart goes out to everyone. We are all God’s children & since He has sustained us in the past, He will surely continue to sustain us even now.

This is not true. The cops were there before she was there. And afterwards she didn’t have time to wash anything…

i heard that v knew everything and that she helped cover up some of the evidence (washing the bed sheets and stuff b4 the cops came). i heard that love is blind but i guess its deaf, dumb and stupid too.
