Larry Eugene Tindell, 48, a special education teacher at W.S. Neal High School in East Brewton, Alabama has been charged on allegations that he paid money or drugs to former students to perform sex acts on themselves while he watched.
Tindell has been held since February 10th when he was charged with distribution of a controlled substance.
It is alleged that Tindell befriended young males at the school, some of whom were in their mid-teens, and asking them to perform sex acts on themselves in front of him once they reached the age of consent in Alabama.
It is further alleged that Tindell paid them $20 or with Lortab, narcotic pain relief pills.
A statement by the Escambia County Sheriff indicates that when officers searched theTindell home they discovered still images of children in sexual situations and that the images were likely from the Internet or magazines.
As a result, the Sheriff indicated that more charges could be filed as the investigation continues.
Tindell remains jailed in lieu of $425,000 bond.
