Kristy Sanchez-Trujillo, 33, a seventh-grade social studies teacher at Jimmy Carter Middle School, in Albuquerque, New Mexico has reportedly been fired over accusations she had sex with a 13-year-old male student.
According to an Albuquerque Public Schools spokesperson, Sanchez-Trujillo was terminated today for employee misconduct. The spokesperson indicated that the firing followed an anonymous source contacting school administrators on Tuesday.
The Albuquerque Police Department is conducting a criminal investigation into the allegations and a police spokesperson confirmed an investigation is underway but said no criminal charges have been filed.
Albuquerque Public Schools Superintendent Winston Brooks has been quoted in news media reports as stating that Sanchez-Trujillo confessed to a sexual relationship with a student.
10/29/09 – Police Arrest Kristy Sanchez Trujillo
On Wednesday night, police arrested Kristy Sanchez-Trujillo.
Reportedly she is charged with three counts of criminal sexual penetration by school personnel.
It is alleged that one week ago, Trujillo lured the boy out of the classroom, and started having sex with him.
Sanchez Trujillo came to the attention of school officials and police after she reportedly told another teacher of the alleged improper relationship and that teacher turned her in.
10/29/09 – Case Details Released
The criminal complaint states Sanchez-Trujillo and the student came to the Petroglyph National Monument and that they parked and had sexual relations on multiple occasions.
Police alleged that Sanchez-Trujillo told them her student was “more experienced than any man she’s had sex with” and described him as a “25-year-old in a 13-year-old’s body.”
Investigators said that the only reason the relationship ended was because the student’s older brother spotted the pair together.
Kristy Sanchez-Trujillo has reportedly been charged with three counts of rape and was released on bail..

As a parent of one of Ms. Trujillo’s students… I’m a little shocked to find this out. This doesn’t ’sound’ like the Ms. Trujillo we all know and love. My daughter is, or WAS rather in her 5th period social studies class and was heartbroken when the news came about. Ms. Trujillo isn’t a bad person. She just made a bad decision.
We still love you Ms. Trujillo, but what you did was wrong. You ruined your career. I hope everything blows over soon for all parties involved and we’re standing by your side.

If I had gotten down with her, and it was public knowledge (i.e. being the father of her child) I’d sue this skank for libel. And what’s with the older brother being a c**k blocker? And, doesn’t she realize how damaging statements like that are to her?

My belief is this woman wanted to get caught if it’s true. Who the hell commits a crime and tells someone about it especially another teacher? But I do find it suspect that this comes out as her father is running for sheriff and most likely now will have to step down from running. All these teachers who talk to anyone another student or teacher or even a friend or family member want to get caught it’s definately not cause they are in some diluted idea they are in love with a child. Anyway hope this isn’t true cause it would just be another case of a pretty and bright young woman throwing away her career and life for a couple of intimate encounters or months of so called love lol.

Ok… we’ve seen Ms. Trujillo’s picture. Now let’s get a picture of the teacher who reported her… I have a feeling she’s gonna look different….and more like a teacher who should be SEVERELY punished for committing such a crime. Whereas Ms. Trujillo should get a slap on the wrist… or as the 13 year old might suggest.. a slap on the ass!!!! We men need to start a movement in this country where we make it impossible for a woman LESS attractive than the teacher involved in the incident to report it to police and for the police to report it to the mother if the mother is also less attractive than the hot teacher. Ugly teachers who have relationships with underage students should of course be fully prosecuted for visiting UGLINESS upon said students!

I had her last year when i was in 7th && i went through alot of (Expletive deleted by site moderator) and she helped me through almost all of it and i know she is a really good person she did a really bad thing and nobody is perfect pero we all learn from our mistakes and maybe and hopefully she will earnfrom hers,.!!!!

I can’t believe people are saying this she is way beyond that and all of us at JCMS know she is innocent, she would always lecture about doing the right things so why would she turn her back and be a hypocrite, that’s not the Ms. Trujillo we all know.
