Kesha Denna Manuel, 27, an art teacher at Belaire High School, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana has been arrested and jailed after allegedly admitting she had sex with a 15-year-old male student.
Manuel is charged with one count of carnal knowledge of a juvenile and faces up to 10 years in prison and a $5,000 fine if convicted.
It is alleged that Manuel admitted to a deputy she became attracted to the teenage boy, passing him notes and allowing him to kiss and fondle her in her classroom during free periods.
It is also alleged that she also admitted that on October 20 the two met at a public library and had sex in a stall in the women’s restroom.
Manuel came to the attention of school officials when the boy’s father complained about the matter to Belaire High Principal Robert Webb who questioned the teacher and student; both of whom denied the accusation. In spite of the denials, the principal transferred the 15-year-old out of Manuel’s class.
When another teacher discovered Manuel and the student passing notes the school administration was notified and the pair confronted. A subsequent investigation by the Sheriff’s office resulted in Manuel’s arrest.
Manuel was released from Parish Prison on Wednesday on $15,000 bond.

Well She needs to do time. She needs to grow up. Eventually a 15 yr will get bored with you. And then what do you have, Nothing. Unless you go after another 15 yr. Then that’s when you be a true predator.

This is very depressing. She needs to be put away. One website even reveals her wedding website. her husband looks so innocent and loving. BAsed on what is put on that website it seems like he is an ok guy. Woman are never satisfied. I wonder if they’ll stay married. I think he should leave her, because this is the ultimate betrayal. She coudl have cheated with a guy near her own age. Where are we gettign our nation’s teachers from?
