Kenzi Friday, 23, a former geography teacher and varsity cheerleader coach at Midland High School in Midland, Texas has been arrested on allegations of a sexual relationship with a 17-year-old male student.
Friday was arrested on a charge of improper relationship between educator and student on Friday.
Friday came to the attention of authorities on Thursday when another teacher reported possible inappropriate activity between Friday and a student and Midland Independent School District officials called police.
It is alleged that relationship took place between the start of the school year through the beginning of April with the alleged sexual activity taking place at a Midland home.
Reportedly Friday resigned from the school on Friday morning.
Following her arrest, Friday was released late Friday on $25,000 bond.
10/04/09 – Guilty Plea
Kenzi Friday has in a plea deal with prosecutors pleaded guilty to two counts of an improper relationship between educator and student.
Friday was sentenced to five years probation and was fined $2,000.

well its ateacher student relationship so no matter the age he was a student and she was a teacher. if she could have waited till he graduated nothing would be wrong but while he was a student at that school and she was a tecaher at the same time it is wrong and illegal. (Deleted by site moderator)
