I give the 17 year old a lot of credit for not giving in during questioning. They had to bring out personal phone records for the evidence. Our Constitutional rights are being whittled away, whereas the government has already become Big Brother.

As for the law being black and white in this matter, why then should there even be a trial? I’d love to have YOU as my defense lawyer!!!

This woman has a big problem. ANYONE who messes around with a teenager has to have a problem. Teenagers are so goofy and so confused, why would ANY adult want to be around one?

I guess, according to JimmyJ the self-anointed bard of jurisprudence, this 17 year old VICTIM has been thoroughly taken advantaged of, and the only solution is to lock this bad-bad teacher up and throw the key away!

When I was taking a walk late one evening, I saw a couple of teenagers going at it in the bushes along one of the bike trails. They were around 16. If arrested, should they both be charged with child molestation? After all, if the same 15 year olds were to get caught texting each other naked pictures of themselves, they could be arrested for transmitting child pornography electronically, and that is a BIG TIME FELONY.

Karolyn Nagel wasn’t involved with a 17 year old “boy,” but with a 17 year old “man!” When questioned by the police, he held his mud and kept his mouth shut. Bravo!!! At least up to this point, he’s got a lot of moxie. Let’s hope he continues to hold out when the pressure is on.

17 year old boys are only interested in sex and they are as horny as hell all the time. Watch “The Summer of 42″ and “The Last Picture Show” to see what’s in the mind of a teenage boy. The first time I had sex, I was barely 16 and she was around 26. Her name was Sheri and she was as beautiful as any Playboy centerfold you’ve ever seen. The night I spent with her in the motel was absolutely the greatest, most magical experience of my entire life. She drank tequila and I had vodka. As time went on, our relationship quickly became evanescent. There was just no way a 16 year-old could marry and support a family. Maybe I should hunt her down and, after finding her whereabouts, go crying to the police with some sort of post traumatic sex syndrome that somehow manifested itself after over 30 years! Look around on this website and you will find grown women who have gone to the law for something that they willingly consented to when they were in high school.

Nowadays a male teacher cannot even look at a sexy high school aged girl without risking his career, and maybe even his life. Teachers in this day and age are advised to do the following:
- maintain a complete hands-off / eyes-off policy;
- keep all doors unlocked and/or open;
- always have a witness with you when talking to students on a touchy subject;
- maintain a “clean” cell phone and computer;
- treat all students equally– no teacher’s pet.

There are many more of such guidelines to consider, but that’s enough for now.
