Charges Dismissed

Kamron Klitgaard, 42, a drama teacher at Roy High School in Roy, Utah has been arrested on child pornography charges.

Klitgaard’s arrest came as the result of a two month investigation during which child pornography was found on both his workplace and home computers.

Allegedly multiple computers used by Klitgaard at the school were found to contain child pornography.

Klitgaard is currently facing two felony and 10 misdemeanor counts on allegations of sexual exploitation and distributing pornographic material.

Klitgaard has been on administrative leave from the school since January 4th.

07/22/08 - Charges Dismissed

On Monday, prosecutors asked the court to dismiss two second-degree felony charges of sexual exploitation of a minor against Kamron Klitgaard.

Reportedly, court records indicate Weber County prosecutors made the decision “in the interests of justice.”

    Oh my goodness, I just heard about this today. Poor Mr. Klitgaard, he is an amazing upstanding man I hope that people will not believe all the lies about him.

    For those of you who may not know. ALL charges against Kamron Klitgaard have been dropped. Not because of a technicality or anything like that, the prosecution concluded that with teh further forensic evidence the images in question were downloaded from a completely safe website via spyware or some other computer hacking program.

    Kamron Klitgaard is a great man and exceptional human being. He doesnt deserve the ammount of trouble that this situation has caused him and his family. I hope in time that this whole situation can be behind him and people will recognize the mistake for what it clearly was.
