Johnathan Wolf Bradley Huff, 40, dean at Urban Assembly Academy of History and Citizenship for Young Men in New York, New York has been arrested on allegations of molesting a 14-year-old boy in his office on Saturday.

Johnathan Wolf Bradley Huff

Huff was reportedly arrested on charges of forcible touching, endangering the welfare of a child and sex abuse.

It is alleged that Huff lured the boy into his office during a Saturday session of school and allegedly touched the boy’s genitals over his clothes.

Huff came to the attention of authorities on Monday by way of a 911 call.

Huff was released on his own recognizance following arraignment this morning.

He has a court date set for October 15th.

Huff, who has reportedly been with the school for four years, was “Teacher of the Year” at the school in 2007 and was made dean last year. A spokesperson for the Department of Education says he will be reassigned.

All I can say is I told you so to all the dumb people in Michigan where he used to work. This man had an unusual interest in young male students. No one wanted to believe it and administrators swept any inquiries under the rug and allowed this man to move on to another town and who knows how many other young men he may have injured in the same way.

All I can say is that this teacher did NOT have an unusual interest in young male students the way you want to imply. He DID have an interest in those that faced many of the difficult challenges in life that many teens today face. If you knew anything about Mr. Huff you would know that he also faced many challenges as a teen which makes him empathic and capable of reaching out to teens in need. Our schools NEED more teachers like Mr. Huff. More teachers that will invest time, energy, and pride into our young students. These kids are our future and, I for one, am so thankful that Mr. Huff cares as much as he does. Mr. Huff is a positive role model for every young teen that comes in contact with him…because he truly and sincerly cares for their well-being. Anyone who implys anything different ought to get to know the man before they cast stones.

Its all good and right what you all are saying, but if you never met this person, and never spoken with him then you have no right to even assume accusations. i was a student of his 3 years ago, and till today i still go to hime in search of advice and help in anything. i agree with luis i also played basketball with him fridays, he is a well respected teacher who has always taught us to make progress and be better, and he is no hypocrit. this is just wrong how the media and a random new student at the school is damaging the reputation of a good man.. but then again this is just my opinion againtst thousands of others.

“A spokesperson for the Department of Education says he will be reassigned.”

How can they determine that a teacher will be reassigned if he hasn’t been found guilty of anything? Teachers should be able to sue for damages when the DoE makes precipitous, inflammatory, prejudicial public statements like this BEFORE a professional educator has been given due process.

TWorld obviously has not seen the reports on TV all over NYC where numerous students from that school said they do not believe that allegations and think the student is making it up. Once again, possibly a very good (not bad, bad) teacher (Teacher of the Year – voted on by students) is suffering because people are jumping to conclusions. Can’t blame you though…the media has definitely used the story and taken the angle that will get the most coverage for them. NYC lives and breathes on scandles, whether they are true or not. This is a sad story for everyone involved…dean and student…both lives will be changed forever. Sometimes it is a bad, bad student that ruins the life of a good, good teacher…you just don’t know. That is something to think about as you (and all of us) sit back in our personally-appointed judge’s chair and render verdicts over things we honestly and truly know nothing about. Isn’t it fun, though, to pretend we know it all and hand down judgements on people we have never met? :(

The old Saturday Morning Special, eh? Didn’t I see this on an episode of Diff’rent Strokes? Anyhow, what a rat bastid touching impressionable youth(s) on their genitals. I can’t stand when a homosexual man doesn’t allow a normal teen to develop their own identity. Instead, they force themselves on someone who has no idea what’s going on, or did it feel good. Confused teens are the wounded elk that homosexual pedophiles prey on. I used to work with one until he was forced to quit since we deal with the public and he had, literally, thousand of chance encounters with children.

Pisses me off!!! I don’t have anything wrong with homosexual men, until they try to make someone into something that person may not want to be. Disgusting.
