John Rasberry

John Franklin Rasberry, 33, a former teacher at West Craven High School in Vanceboro, North Carolina has pleaded guilty to having sexual intercourse with a 17-year-old female student.

Following Rasberry’s guilty plea he was sentenced to 13 to 16 months in prison, suspended for 36 months.

In addition to his suspended sentence, Rasberry was also placed on intense probation for six months, regular probation for 30 months, required to turn in his state teacher’s license, he must register as a sex offender and perform 200 hours of community service.
